Garmin Zumo XT2 Conversion FULL Kit for BMW Motorrad GPS - R1300GS R1250GS

To assemble the kit:

1. Begin by connecting the electrical wire from the original Zumo XT2 holder to the provided BMW socket. Use the provided Heat Shrinkable Wire Connectors to easily join both parts. You can heat them using a regular hairdryer.
   • Important Note: It is recommended to first perform a wiring verification by connecting only the supplied BMW socket directly to the existing vehicle wiring harness. Do not rely solely on wire insulation colors (e.g., red or black) to determine polarity, as they may not conform to standard conventions.
     
2. Remove the 2 tiny screws to detach the OEM locking slider. You will need these 2 screws and the back handle for assembling the new locking mechanism.
3. Remove all 4 screws to detach the Navigator holder from the BMW Motorrad GPS. Be careful with the nuts on the backside.
4. Position both the spacer plate and the Zumo XT2 holder (included with the Garmin device) in the place where you removed the Navigator holder, using the provided longer screws. However, do not tighten them all the way yet.
5. Attach the locking slider to the BMW Motorrad OEM navigation mount using the back handle and the original 2 tiny screws.
6. Align the locking slider and Zumo XT2 holder.
7. Secure the Garmin device in place by sliding the locking slider into position.
8. Firmly mount all 6 screws (with care).
9. Disconnect the cable from the original Navigator holder and connect it to the Zumo XT2 holder.
